Health & Safety

Extended Stay America is committed to the health, safety and comfort of our guests. That’s why we’ve launched our new STAY Confident initiative, a comprehensive program comprised of three pillars: STAY Safe, STAY Healthy and STAY Comfortable. As part of this initiative, we’re leveraging our partnership with P&G Professional and its trusted brands like Mr. Clean, Spic and Span, and Comet to clean, disinfect and protect our properties.

Face Coverings

Effective August 20, 2020, all Extended Stay America hotels will require guests and all other individuals entering its hotels to wear a face covering when in indoor public areas, including entryways, lobbies, hallways, laundry areas, and elevators. For purposes of this requirement, face covering means a cloth face covering that covers the nose and mouth. 

We recognize that wearing a face covering may not be possible in every situation or for some people. Exceptions will be made for the following:

  • Children under the age of two (2)
  • Individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical or behavioral condition or disability
  • Individuals who are unable to remove a face covering without assistance

For hotels in states or municipalities with face covering mandates or requirements, the hotel will follow the state or municipal mandates or requirements.

Travel Flexibility

There’s enough uncertainty in the world right now. Let us help you with a more flexible cancellation policy. If you currently have a reservation for arrival through December 31, 2020 and are unable to travel, you can cancel without penalty (at no charge) up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival day. If you booked directly with us via our website or Call Center, please contact us at 855.765.3618 if you need assistance. If you booked with an online travel agency or other third party, please contact them directly.

Hotel Services

  • Full Kitchens in every room. With fully equipped kitchens in every suite, our guests can have a level of control over their travel experience not possible at most hotels.
  • Faster, free wi-fi. We have also increased the speed of our free wi-fi services at each of our hotels, to help guests remain connected.
  • Spacious suites. Suited for long-term stays, our suites provide more space than the average hotel room.
  • Guest laundry. Stay fresh with guest laundry facilities at every hotel.
  • Pet-friendly room options. Take your best four-legged dog or cat friend with you as you travel.
